[Product Review] KARTMART's CathyDoll Armpit Whitening Set and BeautyCode.MD's Refining Laser Serum

Good day everyone!

Remember what I said yesterday on posting updates from time to time? Well, today I have nothing to do so another update for you yay!

Before that, here's a reminder. Most of my updates from now are going to be in the form of reviews. Be it product reviews, novel reviews, anime reviews, or even k-drama reviews.

Alright! Back to the topic at hand, today's review is a combination review of two different products. I thought that doing one review per product is time consuming so why not combine both? Hahaha

Okay, so the first product to be reviewed today is KARTMART's CathyDoll Armpit Whitening Set.

It consists of an armpit scrub, armpit toner, and armpit cream. I've recently been introduced to this line of products by @the.skins.meal on Instagram.
At first, I didn't know that there was an armpit cream but when I browse through the Guardian outlet in AEON Rawang, I saw it settled nicely in between the scrub and the toner. Since I've already bought the toner, I only bought both the scrub and the cream at that time.

Okay, so the scrub smells nice. Can't say the same about the bottle though hahaha. The scrub is to remove the dead skin cells from our armpit for a more fresh feeling. I've been applying it for awhile now and the result is satisfying. You can really see the changes.

Next is the toner. You apply it the same way you do a facial toner. Press the tip of the bottle and a few drops will come out, use a cotton to apply it to the skin. Rub it on the armpit area until you can see the filth coming off. So far, I'm satisfied with the results of this product as well.

I don't have that many comments for the cream except for its nice smell and not sticky feel. Let's see how it'll turn out in later. Hehehe

Overall, I give these products a 9/10 based on the results that I've seen so far. I'm quite satisfied by it and would love to buy another one when this one's finished.

Moving on to the next product.

BeautyCode.MD's Refining Laser Serum. I was introduced to it by @snfad_diela on Instagram (as well hahaha). I happened to need a serum for skin treatment so I decided to give it a try. I bought it online for RM 88.00 excluding postage from one of the dealers.

One bottle is said to last for two months. You just have to be careful when squeezing it. Two drops are enough for one application. One whole squeeze equals to four drops (which means it would be such a waste).

Apply it evenly onto your face or around the affected area after cleansing it. I've only been applying it for a few days but so far I'm quite satisfied with what I see. My skin is oily and I usually have acne breakouts whenever I'm on my period so I hope this helps in reducing the problem.

This product contains argan oil which is good for the skin. It's not sticky and absorbs fast into the skin as well. Oh, and it smells nice too! Tee-hee.

But, I guess this serum is a one time thing like the cushion. Even though I love wearing it but I wouldn't buy it for the second time.

Okay, so that's all from me for the review today. I hope this helps you in many ways. Take care and I'll see you again on my next update! Jya ne~ (^o^)

[Product Review] THEFACESHOP's Oil Control Water Cushion

Hi everyone!

It's been awhile since I last posted anything on this blog. I've been busy with assignments and final exam lately that I don't have enough time to indulge myself in the world of blogging hahaha.

FYI, this blog was actually created for one of my courses as part of an assignment. I've actually posted a few things here but I drafted everything after it was over because they are all embarrassing hahaha. After abandoning this blog for so long, I decided to update it from time to time or whenever I'm free (which I'm usually not lol)

Anyway...

I've been buying a few skin care and body care products lately which costs me lots of money hahaha. But, they are all only bought for the sake of trying because I'm one heck of a curious woman (which is actually an excuse for being a spendthrift lol)

Since I've been trying lots of products at the moment, I decided to do a review on each of them. Actually, this review thingy was inspired by my friend and fellow blogger, Miisa (if you're reading this I just want to say "Hey there, Miisaaa" *waves enthusiastically* hehehe). By the way, the first product to be reviewed is as you can see in the title that is THEFACESHOP's Oil Control Water Cushion.

Well, this product is pretty nice if it fits your skin type. I bought it at their outlet in MidValley for RM 83.90 after hours of thinking on whether to try it or not. But, since I'm easily swayed, I bought it after all hahaha.

On the first application, my face got a little bit itchy and I instantly regret buying them. But, after applying it more than once, my face no longer experience irritations.

The texture of this product is okay and it's easy to blend. The only problem is I think that I might have chosen the wrong colour as my face looks brighter without it hahaha. As far as I'm aware, there are four shades available. I can't remember the other three but mine is V205 Dark Beige. This product also have SPF 50+ PA+++ which is good for people who prefer higher protection for the skin. As for me, I'm kind of disappointed because I prefer products with SPF 30 better and they don't have it.

Why?

I once heard my friend said that for younger skin, it's better if we apply products with SPF 30 and below because anything higher than that might damage the skin.

Coverage? Not exactly excellent but I give it 8 out of 10 since this product is more on controlling oily skin than covering dark spots or blemishes.

All in all, I give this product an 8/10. A rather high rating, am I right? Even so, I have to be honest that this will be the first and the last time I'll ever buy this product. Not because it's not good, but because it's a one time thing like I said earlier. My skin is not suitable for any kind of compact powder/cushion related products anyway so why bother buying more? Hahaha.

I guess that's it for this post. Thank you for reading and see you on my next update! Jya ne~ (^o^)
